In the warm spring breeze
cottonwood drifts through the air;
fuzz piles on sidewalk.

Some days the cottonwood fluff drifts so much it looks like it's winter.
I actually did try taking a couple of pictures of cottonwood fluff, but decided to use a spring flower photo instead. It's illustrating the season, not the specific haiku.
