Haiku! Ray Mc Niece

The 5th Not-Exactly-Annual Haiku Death Match is only 20 days away! To celebrate the countdown to the haiku contest, over the next two weeks I'll be featuring a haiku from each of the deathmatch contestents, starting with Ray McNiece: the 2011 haiku-champion of Cleveland:

...and, if you can't wait until April to get your evening of art and poetry, on March 30 Heights Arts will hold another evening of Ekphrastacy: Artists Talk and Poets Respond at the Heights Arts gallery with Cleveland poets Jeffrey Bowen, Clarissa Jakobsons, Chuck Joy, and Emily Troia reading poems created in response to artworks on view in the exhibition.
