Gottl: the Cleveland Poetry Examiner

Cleveland poet (and fellow clevelandpoetics team member) T. M. Göttl just started writing an online column for the, the Cleveland Poetry Examiner. Her first article reviews the recent first anniversary of the Lix 'n Kix poetry reading series (currently at Bela Dubby in Lakewood, every third Tuesday, 7pm). She plans to write about poetry events, open mics, and other topics that might be pertinent to writers and poets in NE Ohio, posting a couple articles every week.

So, take a look, and if you have suggestions for topics that should be covered, you might drop her a note!

(and, by the way, you should check out her work at Or catch one of her readings!)

Thanks Geoff!

And of course, I'll still be posting essays here.

I know a few friends who write for the Examiner site, and while perusing, I found a gap in the coverage of what happens to be a thriving poetry and writing scene in NE Ohio. There's a presence that folks need to hear about.

I love it - think it's a fantastic idea - and we couldn't ask for a better correspondent than T.M.

Thank you, Geoff, for another excellent Cleveland Poetics post (and for the Lix & Kix shout out)!
